Unlike single-material stainless steel hoses, a composite hose is crafted from a blend of materials that are bound together in a single tube. It is based on the ‘mandrel-wrapped principle’ and consists of a spiral of wire, which has multi-layers of polymer (or other materials) wrapped around it, followed by the second spiral of wire. Composite hoses are flexible & versatile and compared to rubber hoses, they are easy to use, lightweight and safer.
